Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted June 16, 2015 I can't make my mind up if I should remove the Toyota and GT86 badge at the rear. I have always thought they looked a bit big and messed up the lines. What do you think? Will be keeping the Toyota symbol as there are locating holes which I do not want to have to mess with. Amazing what you can edit on a phone __________________________________________ Come and join us www.im-tuned.uk

Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 16, 2015 Are there any holes to fill under the badges? (I agree it looks better without - they're awful - mainly because they don't match)
rob275 1817 Report post Posted June 16, 2015 Are there any holes to fill under the badges? (I agree it looks better without - they're awful - mainly because they don't match) Only holes on the toyota badge. Not the other two
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 16, 2015 Curses. That's the one that annoys me... :-D. Doesn't match anything else on the car... I suppose I could paint it...
Tweedbean 151 Report post Posted June 16, 2015 De-badge it, looks much cleaner. When I have paint work done on the car elsewhere, I will be getting the holes filled on the rear of mine. 1 Gringosteve reacted to this

Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted June 16, 2015 I think it was the GT86 logo from the boot that they placed over the Toyota logo holes. Wasn't 100% my cup of tea __________________________________________ Come and join us www.im-tuned.uk
Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted June 16, 2015 Curses. That's the one that annoys me... :-D. Doesn't match anything else on the car... I suppose I could paint it... It's the Toyota logo badge with pins, not the word "Toyota" __________________________________________ Come and join us www.im-tuned.uk
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 17, 2015 Oh. Ok. That's better. It's the Toyota text that looks unnecessary... 1 Gringosteve reacted to this

Varelco 211 Report post Posted June 17, 2015 Another vote for de-badge. Too much chrome going on round the back end.
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 17, 2015 Anyone plasti-dipped the logos? Think that'd look better too. The less chrome the better.

Keethos 842 Report post Posted June 17, 2015 I've had all my badges painted black along with the boot so you can sometimes see the badges, sometimes you can't, best of both worlds. Plasti dip is a good option Mr Biscuit, it's easy to apply and peals off if you don't like it.
