KevinA 695 Report post Posted March 25, 2015 Insurance coming up shortly, so thought it might be a good idea to ask you good folks for tips on a modified 86. Not really wanting to do the whole comparison site stuff. Thanks Kev

Jamie_GRMN 177 Report post Posted March 25, 2015 A number of us have gone with Prestige that advertise on here, no complaints from me with there service and price
Kodename47 446 Report post Posted March 25, 2015 Adrian Flux are the best value for me and they offer GV policies which are of interest, Sky also usually competitive. Most "specialist" companies offer like for like on Mods these days but worth asking. LV may also be worth a shot as my cover is via Adrian Flux but underwrittten by a subsidary of them. JamesP1991 222 Report post Posted March 25, 2015 Currently with Hastings at the moment and they were very reasonable for me
Kristov4 70 Report post Posted March 25, 2015 I got quotes from A plan, Sky, Prestige, Chris Knott and Adrian Flux. Adrian Flux came in £150 cheaper with lower excess. I did wonder if I was dealing with a double glazing sales man when they offered to knock off £30 if I agreed to take the policy and not wait to get the A plan quote. As they had already quoted £100 cheaper than all the others I took it and ran.
Steeps 294 Report post Posted March 25, 2015 If it's only lightly modified Aviva came up tops for me from comparison site searches, paid less than £300 for the year with 3 mods declared.
KevinA 695 Report post Posted March 31, 2015 Insurance sorted, and quite a surprise too. Aviva just blew the rest out of the water, with all mods declared they were nearly 50% cheaper than Sky and Prestige were a £100 dearer. All this with a £200 smaller excess than any of the others, surprising for two old peeps like us 1 Keethos reacted to this

GT86Jay 202 Report post Posted April 1, 2015 Prestige Keep Moving insurance were best for me supercharged. http://www.prestigekeepmoving.com/ No one else really wanted to know. But they came in at the same price as I pay now without supercharger! 1 Keethos reacted to this
