Riceburner 284 Report post Posted February 22, 2015 The suction pipe does either job. There is the option of blanking plug in the kit supplied. Its Much better IMO blanked off.

rob275 1817 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 Fensport have the Induction Kit in stock but not the pipe. This is one mighty expensive induction kit all in all.
Ztox 230 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 I thought the pipe was part of the kit, fml that is expensive lol. Looking at Rich's pic makes me feel better about it though. 1 Mark-in-Stoke reacted to this
rob275 1817 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 HKS Panel Filter ftw
JamesP1991 222 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 I have one fitted to the stock airbox with Blitz panel filter inside. I have not plugged the hole for the noise generator and kept it attached. Basically it is just the intake pipework which either connects to the aftermarket Blitz intake or airbox if you keep it stock. To be honest as Rob said, you are better off buying that with just a drop in panel filter like the HKS one and you will end up getting similar gains that to a traditional aftermarket full intake. 1 GREMLIN reacted to this
Ztox 230 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 I can't deny that for NA engines a panel filter is usually better. However, I'm a bit of a bling man and I love the look of the blitz filter and secondly, I will need open induction in the long run for what I want. A closed airbox muffles sound Apologies for the minor thread hijack 1 GREMLIN reacted to this
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 I had a go in Richard's RRG Demo car (well a quick blast really) and the Blitz setup he has sounds amazing. Way better than my old Injen induction kit (not much else was available at the time). A monkey is pretty expensive though for that lot. 1 GREMLIN reacted to this
GREMLIN 27 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 Fensport have the Induction Kit in stock but not the pipe. Tareim 343 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 would the induction pipe not lose the torque from the resonator box?
Keethos 842 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 The blitz kit does sound awesome! And it looks like a friggin jet engine. 1 Ztox reacted to this
Fensport 76 Report post Posted February 24, 2015 As a result of this thread and many other enquiries over the last few days, we are about to place an air freight order with Blitz Japan for the 55703 Suction Kits. I fully expect them to be with us in around a fortnight's time. http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-4254.aspx I'm not sure if the Advance Power induction owners have seen this video showing an independent test of the kit: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0OQRnGlQlE 2 Ztox and GREMLIN reacted to this
Keethos 842 Report post Posted February 24, 2015 Just so people know, this kit is great for those who like bling and the sound it makes, but if you're solely after performance then just a drop in airfilter would give similar results for a fraction of the cost. I've seen some dyno his stock car, drop in a HKS airfilter and then dyno'd the car again and bam, an extra 6bhp.
