  1. Not on mine - if I use the sensor on the handle it locks the car (even if it was already locked). I have to use the fob to unlock the car
  2. Can't drive past all the people queueing to a free pump unless you want to try dragging the pipe over the car
  3. My list of minor niggles.... The stereo and heating knobs turn too easily for my OCD, the head rest bashes me in the back of the head if I have my hair tied back, getting in and out without scuffing the seat is like a daily dose of yoga (especially if there's a car next to me in the carpark), the car attracts stone chips like nothing else (and with the thin paint/metal is making my car look tatty), it makes TT drivers behave like idiots, I haven't yet worked out how to make the keyless entry thing on the door actually let me in, the petrol cap is on the same side as the majority of cars, errr.... but I do love the car though - this list is much shorter than any other car and I still find myself grinning when I drive it.

    Camber adjustment

Hi Mark. I'm afraid I don't know because it was a change before I bought the car, but I can have a go at working it out this evening and get back to you.

    Camber adjustment

Hi Deacon - one edge of each front tyre. I'm assuming its the inside edge, but I don't know for sure because I've only seen it when the tyres have been swapped for all-seasons.

    Camber adjustment

Thanks. The wear is just on one corner so its not tyre pressures. So for day to day running, is there an advantage to having the camber altered?

    Camber adjustment

Hi, When I bought my 86 it had whiteline eccentic front top mounts (I think - can't fully remember off the top of my head) already fitted and I'm wondering what the pros/cons are to them. My front tyres are showing more wear on the edge as would be expected, though nothing too bad, but I'm trying to work out if I'm better going back to standard. For info, my car has stock suspension, wheels etc, but does have whiteline antiroll bars and I use it for every day use (about 400 miles per week at a guess). Thanks
  8. I'm not used to driver aids so when I remember I put it into sport mode (especially after its twice decided I should suddenly go straight whilst going around roundabouts, once with a lorry where it thought I should going - bit of a surprise I must admit). I'm just forgetful and keep forgetting the press the button. Since I've read this post I've decided to try it with everything off and OK so both times the roads were nice and dry, but the car's so well balanced that I seem to have to really try to get the back end to step out (or maybe I'm just a slow driver!!).

    Rear screen demister

Ug, must be just unlucky with mine then (the mirrors clear very quickly though so its not all bad)

    Rear screen demister

Hi, Has anyone else noticed that their rear demister is really slow? I know mine is working because I get the stripes, but its so slow. Thanks

    Hi from North Lincs

What date is the Blyton Park sprint? (I'm just being lazy and asking rather than putting the effort into looking it up - sorry!!)
