willclarke 50 Report post Posted August 27, 2018 Eyeing up a cobra back box and a TD resonated mid pipe to put together, and generally wondered will most systems just fit together provided the bore is the same? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
MartinT 514 Report post Posted August 27, 2018 No I don't think so. The coupling positions seem to be different between the systems.Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk
will300 812 Report post Posted August 27, 2018 No, you won't be able to combine a TD mid pipe to a cobra back box (muffler). Why don't you just get a TD resonated system? Here's a couple of photo's showing the difference (I've highlighted the join so you can see it's physically different): Cobra Exhaust: Tuning Developments Exhaust: 1 willclarke reacted to this
willclarke 50 Report post Posted August 27, 2018 Thanks for clearing that up I just thought that the cobra would be a nicer sound from vids. (TD res isn't actually as pricey as I thought) Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted August 27, 2018 I wouldn't go too much on videos TBH. Better to hear them in the flesh.
MartinT 514 Report post Posted August 27, 2018 Will, I have a TD with super resonator. I believe the Cobra is considerably louder.Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk
