willfmair 24 Report post Posted October 3, 2017 Hi everyone, I have been frequenting these Rockingham summer socials this year and have found them to be a good day out in general. They are now having a finale that is coinciding with the ever growing Cars & Coffee's second event - they have got some fantastic cars confirmed for attendance (Link to Rockingham event: https://www.facebook.com/events/343688006057431/) (Link to Cars & Coffee Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/343688006057431/) (Link to Cars & Coffee website: https://cars.coffee/en/find-events/cars-and-coffee-rockingham-2017) I have been in contact with Rockingham's marketing team who have confirmed they are happy to organise a club stand for us and just need an idea of numbers to set aside the space. Please see the images I've attached for more information - I will try and find out more information on the availability of track time and the time attack sessions, if we get reasonable interest, and update as and when! Please let me know on this thread if you're interested and I'll maintain a list of people. willfmair 24 Report post Posted October 3, 2017 PS; the time I have put up is the official event time - note that they mention the gates open at 08:30 and therefore we can always meet beforehand. Also - if people were interested (and to make the best of the journey) we could organise a meal or similar following the event (I know there is a Wetherspoons sat right next to a "Plant Bounce" about 2 minutes down the road from the track! "Cars & Coffee is the global phenomenon where the passion of supercar owners and enthusiasts become reality. It is a world class, multibrand and multiperiod display to share the emotions conveyed by the roar of powerful engines and by the sight of so many stunning cars." willfmair 24 Report post Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) I have been told that the minimum requirement will be 10 cars to do the club stand but I have until next Wednesday to confirm so we should be okay. If it does look like we will struggle then I can always open this up to Japanese cars in general in which case I can get 10 no problem but would be much cooler with just 86's @Cerastes I will email now and find this information out! UPDATE; here's the reply - "Gates open from 08:30 as we have the track live from 09:00, the track session is it at 10:15 so if you are interested in booking track time I would aim to get for the circuit around 09:00am Entry is £5 on the gate" Hope this helps Edited October 4, 2017 by willfmair Updating answer to email Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Thanks buddy Yeah it's just pay on the gate - Starts early morning so probably no meet beforehand and I think it's now going on later that originally planned (6pm ish) but we can always leave early and if a few of us are up for it we can grab something to eat afterwards Got the updated list now, it's looking good!
