KobayashiMaru 28 Report post Posted November 13, 2016 Remember it being mentioned in the advertising bumpf that you could fit 4 wheels with tyres on inside. Anyone done this or got photos? I'm thinking it should be easy enough (two inside, two in boot) just wanted to check before I go and collect some wheels in it. If not I'll have to take my vRS
nerdstrike 186 Report post Posted November 13, 2016 Two in the boot doesn't quite work, at least not as far as I could see. If you drop the seats you can do it with some heave-ho.
Steeps 294 Report post Posted November 13, 2016 If you drop the boot you can stack 2x2 on to the space that was the back seats, leaving all the boot space free. Alternatively with an old sheet/duvet cover you can put 2 wheels in each back seat vertically without dropping the seats to keep the cabin quiet. You cannot fit 2 wheels flat in the boot, it isn't wide enough. Also to add it's probably easier trying to get wheels in through the doors than through the boot hatch, otherwise you're pushing them along the carpet. Mike 458 Report post Posted November 13, 2016 I've had 4 in, well, 5 as I've got a full spare in the spare wheel well. Seats down and 3 on the boot / back of seats and the 4th on top of those 3.
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted November 13, 2016 You can do it easily enough, but you cannot have four stock wheels with tyres on flat on the floor unless you like licking the windscreen. 1 Ztox reacted to this
Nemo 24 Report post Posted November 13, 2016 I managed to get 4 wheels and 4 tyres in the car. JUST. 18x8.5 all round, so does work. just wrap them in something before you ruin the upholstery!

Keethos 842 Report post Posted November 14, 2016 With the stock wheels and rubber, I've had them all in the back seats many times just like Nemo has them with the tyres, though when I tried to stick in 4 wheels and tyres that were 18x9.5, I struggled a bit so had 1 in the boot and 3 in the back seats. remal 85 Report post Posted November 16, 2016 I've had no issues when fitting tyres to my summer wheels getting 4 tyres in the back. I put the rear seat down and had loads of room
