smudge 1020 Report post Posted June 25, 2014 So, the Rays have arrived (check my progress thread - WARNING, not safe for work, may need tissues) and now it's time to contemplate tyres and wheel nuts Tyres - I used to love Falken 452's, but they've been discontinued. I'm looking at 255/35/18. Any recommendations? Wheel nuts - obviously wanting tuner nuts, nothing overly expensive but obviously want quality
Twigman 93 Report post Posted June 25, 2014 Nuts - I like my TPI nuts @ £40 a set (if you're lazy like me £64 fitted) - but they haven't yet seen a winter so I reserve judgement on their durability

Keethos 842 Report post Posted June 25, 2014 LOL, there are several tyre threads around and the general consensus is that there is no spoon People rate the Goodyear Asymmetric Eagle F1's, Michelin Pilot Super Sports (I think), Yokohama Advan Sport V105 and Continental Contact Sport 5 which is what I'll be getting next, I'm sure others will pipe in soon enough
CHOSENMAN007 81 Report post Posted June 25, 2014 Go for project mu like me and rob. If they ever arrive from mount Fuji! Best out there bar none. Project mu floating composite racing nuts. Or locking 7s

Lauren 2259 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 I think the Falkens are a bit budget really. I'd go for a premium tyres the likes of which have already been mentioned by Keethos. I've got Rays wheels so I just bought Rays nuts via Nengun.
