rob275 1817 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 They are probably sitting on the undertray?
GT86-Ian 351 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 I hope so Rob as I doubt i'll be getting them out any time soon.
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 I'd really rather retrieve them if it was me. But it sounds like they're down the front somewhere. Try a magnetic telescope thing?
Kodename47 446 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 I did this a few times when installing my charger. Under trays are a 10 min job if you can get the front up.
rob275 1817 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 Like steve said, jack the front up and you can take the undertray out fairly quickly.
forge197 12 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 I've done this, I have a magnetic parts bowl and used that to drag the bit (which fortunately was magnetic) along the undertray and out to where I could reach it. Annoying done it a couple times but recovered items each time
