Lauren 2259 Report post Posted November 13, 2013 Hmm quite like the idea of this. I guess this means a cat will be needed in the secondary cat position?

Mark@Abbey M/S 235 Report post Posted November 15, 2013 Equal length headers, Cobra over pipe, Japspeed Sports cat , Resonated Cat back Cobra system , Blitz panel filter and Abbey ECUTEK remap; +25 bhp at the hub gain at the top end. +20lb/ft gain from the GT86 Torque hole. Drives so smooth now. torque dip gone , dyno plot is against a stock car from the dyno day. Will have some prices on the headers very soon. I have also spent some more time on the starting noise issues , we can now totally remove the cat warming calibration. Car starts and idles lovely. Yes we have fitted a Sports cat in the 2nd cat postion But as Steve says we can supply the header with a CAT as well. Prices to follow soon; 1 Sideways? reacted to this

GT86Jay 202 Report post Posted November 15, 2013 Really interested in this!? I'll need a cost for the Catted version, please. And do you know if the CAT is good enough to be MOT compliant on its own?
Special K 442 Report post Posted November 15, 2013 Jay - a high flow cat should be okay if it's rated at 200cel (mine is and passed the MOT emission test). Spec K
Sideways? 33 Report post Posted November 15, 2013 lovely, exactly what I wanted to see! This is now definitly the mod for me, just need to decide exactly whether I want to go with exactly these bits or similar stuff from different brands - and then justify the cost to the wife, which could be the hardest part... It is very interesting to see that the difference between UEL and EL manifolds is 8bhp..!
