    If possible, try to drive another with those springs before you buy. I found them too harsh and returned to OEM - plenty like them though.

    I'd consider the tein flex Z or A's or even kwv1's if it's for almost entirely street use over the other suggestions you've made. I'd also suggest that it may be cheaper going for coilovers from the off as quite a few people (me included!) get springs then change to coilovers which is obviously a more costly way to do things. As for spacers I'm not a fan - correctly offset wheels are a better choice - but lots of people do run them.

    Not to everyone taste but i decided paint the engine cover bay yesterday while helping my bro install his pipercross induction kit to his golf gti.
    The main reason is because i will be installing Blue Perrin intake hose or samco intake hose.

    My next big mod i'll be doing im hoping to do next month would be getting new rims and tyres since my primacy tyres have 2mm tread left.
    The wheels im planning on getting are Japan Racing JR3 in white with Kuhmo KU39 tyres in 17 inch.

    Hi everyone! I'll have a look into Japfest sounds like a good day!
    Only basic mods to start with, I've just put the deposit down on a Custom Cat back, and looking at upgrading the panel filter. Insurance is still pricey so not going mad with power.... Yet!
    A full set of mudflaps arrived this morning and I'm looking at the Eibach pro Spring kit and some spacers to improve the stance - I quite like the stock wheels! 😀
