I have the 25mm versions of the Tein luxury master springs. They are very good, the spring rates are pretty close to stock so match the dampers well, there is negligible difference in ride quality, definitely recommended.

Typically the restricting aspects will be the cat, followed by the conrods. 280bhp is considered a safe limit. So unless you specifically want the all singing all dancing ball bearing Garrett turbo you are better off with Stage 1 & 2 and saving a big wedge of money. IIRC you wont find anybody running the Ptuning turbo kit as it only fits LHD cars.

What do you mean by 3G/4G Dr Bob? As that doesn't really make much sense in terms of headunits. What functionality is it you are after? As Lauren has stated you have 2 categories, the latest Chinese headunits, which there are many, they are crammed full of features and run full Android operating system or your conventional tried and tested high quality brands such as Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood etc. Each have their merits but it totally depends on what it is you are after.

Each stud is pressed into the hub individually so yeah you can replace one. Fronts are easy, rears not so much. There are a couple of useful how to's on YouTube for replacement.

Is there an option to go to another dealer? The fact they were that quick to dismiss the claim based on a pretty stupid reason of an aftermarket exhaust just confirms the level of service and resistance you are going to get from them. Whilst I have no doubt after some 'to me to you' they will begrudging attempt to resolve your issue, I doubt it will be done easier or with any real interest. I'd be tempted to wash my hands of them and try your luck somewhere else. Its a shame it has to be this case, from my experience and all the feedback I read on the forums, customer satisfaction is definitely not Toyota's top priority, no doubt its all about sales KPIs etc.

Its just a feel thing. The shift spring is one of the best mods for the 86, it gives the gear change a rifle bolt feel, its lovely and you don't get bored of it.

It's bit of an unusual thread. You normally mod a car based on what you as the owner feels it's missing or falls down on. Asking other people what you should blow your cash on is, well, different. Is there anything you don't like or think needs improving? Because none of us can tell you what you think.

You might want to do a bit more research on lowering springs. There are options out there that retain the stock comfort, there is no need for coilovers. Especially if it's just for aesthetics.

I had a 1.2 8v Corsa as my first car. I absolutely loved it haha. 45bhp. I tend to get to try quite a few hire cars through work as I'm not allowed to drive my own on business, their are some rubbish cars about. Although their is only one 'car' that sticks out. Land Rover defender. My god, there are no words. Runner up is the A class merc. That was awful car, nothing like it's bigger siblings.

Perfectly normal. They are directional but asymmetrical tyres. Take a look at Uniroyal rainsport 3s. That's a much more extreme version, I had these fitted on my Golf, one side looked as if the grooves were the wrong way but it made no difference to the performance of them.

30mpg is pretty low unless you do alot of town driving. I consistently get 37-38mpg, a combination of motorway, b roads and country lanes, its never driven economically either.

I saw an LC500 last week funnily enough. What a stunning car, had great road presence. Still a 50k car though, that's alot.

Just to clarify as somebody is bound to ask is your exhaust system stock? Whats the coolant temperature like? You have 2 cats in the exhaust system it should pass by a country mile. Seems very odd.
