Yeap thats it, I bought them from japshop too. Nothing flashy of overcomplicated.

I have the Eibach/SPC arms installed on mine. They are the cheapest option and look like stock so you want them if you want some bling. They work perfectly. Im happy with them
-
Nice one how much do you want for it?
-
Good luck finding one.
-
^^^ I spotted this too. It would make sense, a bit worrying to say the least.

Most things are possible. Do you intend to do it or are you going to pay someone to do it? Why the M70? thats a big engine, its also old and not very powerful, I don't see any reason why you would want to fit it to a GT86.

bump still after one of these @Paul did you manage to find it?

You can get the glass polished which may be more cost effective than having it replacement. It may be worth looking into companies which can do it for you.

Varelco replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
Can you stick 4.56 on there? I'm thinking about getting the Weir Performance FD although its only obtainable from the states its half the price of the Mfactory.- 101 replies

The other advantage of the Tactrix/ROMraider is that you don't have to spend a fortune to tweak parameters on your car. For example simply rescaling your MAF for a new intake and removing the sonic boom cold start up would be worth it for some (£65 for the cable, software is free).

Are you getting the matching outfit?

I like where Toyota are at, they seem to be doing a good job of making some more interesting cars. I really like the look of the C-HR and the new Prius is striking too (how cool are those rear lights). Especially compared to the likes of Audi for example, whose styling to me is extremely dull, they tend to tweak the grill and lights ever so slightly and call it "new" -

I think it's starting to get well known that modern engines that run such thin oil are for reasons around economy/power (less drag). Thin oil doesn't lubricate 'better' what is 'better' anyway? Film thickness and strength is directly relatable to temperature and viscosity. I don't buy it, and the fact that some engines fail and others don't is not a reason to accept everything is hunky dory. None of these cars should be killing bearings this early on unless they have been neglected.
-
Oh wow, what caused that? No issues with claiming on warranty? Its this damn 0-W20 too thin....
-
how many miles has it covered? Is there any noticeable sound difference from inside the cabin?
-
That sounds lovely! Is your car remapped seeing as it has a different manifold?
-
Did you go into Toyota with a parts request or to investigate a problem? If you went in with the sole intention of getting them to order you a new battery then they will get the impression you are just using them to source parts. They won't accept self diagnosis, leave the car to them to prove to you its duff or otherwise. Unfortunately some dealers are more lax than others. When I took my car to toyota to have the battery checked as a warranty claim, they insisted the battery was fine because the little bit of paper said so, even though It was clear to me the battery is no good (wont last a week untouched this time of year). Also not all dealers are aware of the faults with this car, my dealer doesn't recognise this as a known issue.

Because its the size of a cake tin and has no roof. As for the Lexus, it doesn't do it for me, interior looks awful and the outside isnt much better.
-
Does the engine itself misbehave when these fault codes appear? Could it be the ECU is being oversensitive rather than there being a definitive problem with the coilpack itself. Ideally we could do with knowing what the ECU is measuring to determine when a coilpack is unhealthy. My question is kind of reinforced when I read that people just live with the code up without any detrimental effects.

Mods coming in (INVIDIA N1, Rally sport mudflaps,Gold Towhooks)
Varelco replied to TheWhiteWizard's topic in Newbies
You will want to look at other exhaust components to free it up, however you got an N1, so anything will less restriction (de catted manifold etc) will make the car real LOUD. -
An interesting article regarding modifying
Varelco replied to TTR's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
That is bang on. I've fallen into alot of the pitfuls that guy has listed over the years and I'm keen to avoid doing that again. I'm very careful in what mods I do to this car as this chassis is so easy to pour money into. -
