Lowe 191 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 (edited) Hi all, Just seen the new kit they're offering. 40mm drop, uses the standard shocks with Eibach springs, £235.95. Looks the business, is cheap so where's the catch - what am I missing? Edited April 13, 2017 by Lowe Typo

Kodename47 446 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 40mm is low on stock dampers. Damper life will be shortened. My Eibach based springs are ~20mm drop, they are of similar ride quality to stock, but they do bottom out easily. I'm not sure I'd run 40mm drop, it's definitely more for stance than performance as the sweet spot of the OEM suspension is only slightly lower than stock unless you start to use adjustable compoments. For reference, TRD and STi springs are only 15mm 2 Lowe and Sideways? reacted to this
Paul 442 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 It's lower than the sweet spot IMO, but proof is in the pudding.
surrey86 352 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 Seems more like StancedUK rather than any handling improvements, but if that's what floats your boat they will look good stationary.
