Church 209 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 As my holder (brodit's) is by central vents, i routed it's cable from below of long dash panel (of fake carbon finish). This way cable part outside is < 10cm. As for this cellphone pocket .. pitty that it's unusable for most modern smarthpones, if one has smart keyless system :(, and i have almost nothing else to put there frequently of that size, usually using for misc items center console box below armrest or glovebox. Usable width is only in models with normal mechanical ignition key, without start button next to this pocket. 1 GT86Bob reacted to this
nerdstrike 186 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 It does have a rubberised floor, so I presume it's intended for either keys or loose change. 1 GT86Bob reacted to this
Rich 378 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 My phone sort of fits in it, but the volume buttons hit the side of the slot so the volume goes up and down like crazy. 1 GT86Bob reacted to this

Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 Well, as I've got the version without the starter button I have a little more room. So I use it for my phone, a small suitcase, back issues of National Geographic 1977-1982, and a portable barbecue. And there's a bit at the back I sub-let to a lodger.
