smudge 1020 Report post Posted July 8, 2015 Just seen this in the main headlines for the 2015 budget: "New car tax bands with a standard charge of £140 - and new cars will not need MOTs for the first four years, rather than three" My car isn't due for it's 1st MOT until February 2016. Anyway, neither the express or BBC make it clear, but I would have thought it would be cars registered after a certain date, presumably when the VED change takes place?
