Tweedbean 151 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Does anyone know if you can remove the fog light surround, pictured below, without removing the front bumper?Does it just pop off with trim tools?
smudge 1020 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Nope, front bumper off jobby as you need to take the fog light out too
Kodename47 446 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Could you not just jack the car up and go the same way as you would when changing the indicator bulbs?
GT86Jay 202 Report post Posted July 2, 2015 They've got to bolt in, they are really fiddly to do. I would say taking the bumper off is far far easier than faffing around trying to do them with the bumper on.
Tweedbean 151 Report post Posted July 2, 2015 It's only the trim pictured above that I want to remove so I can access the entire fog light lens so I can tint it in situ, not looking to remove the fog lights, does this help?

Probably not, i've had the surrounds out. You'll need access from the back really. Its a fiddly job to get all the clips out. The bumpe off is really only a 5 minute job. Clips underneath, and bolts on top and it pops off. Will make the job so much easier. 1 Tweedbean reacted to this
smudge 1020 Report post Posted July 2, 2015 As Jay said, the fog light bolts into the surround which then goes into the bumper if I remember when I changed mine Trust me, bumper off is the easiest way. Only a 10min job
hashiriya 52 Report post Posted July 2, 2015 The stock covers will simply pull off. The APR covers have a bolt which holds them on. When I fitted my APR, i pulled back the arch lining from the front wheel arch and reach in from there is i remember correctly?

Tweedbean 151 Report post Posted July 5, 2015 For anyone attempting this at any point, they do simply just pull out from the front, they clip in and there are no bolts/screws holding them in. This makes my life easier, thanks for all the advice above 1 Keethos reacted to this
