JamesP1991 222 Report post Posted June 16, 2015 Mmmm two ZX12 engines bolted together to make a screaming 2.4L V8! Hugely similar to what Ariel did with the Atom V8! Reminds me a bit in sound to the old Judd V8 engines that screamed! As Sonic says though, it is going to be pretty hefty price wise! What a project it would be though! Varelco 211 Report post Posted June 17, 2015 Id absolutely love one, that is amazing, however going by the original JUN article the full drop in conversion is $70k which is £32k, waaayy too expensive if thats true.

Varelco 211 Report post Posted June 17, 2015 What a frustrating in car video!! You'd have thought they would have filmed at least one open straight.. My thoughts exactly, despite having 11000rpm to play with he left it in the same gear pretty much the entire way round.
Tim Radley 18 Report post Posted June 17, 2015 Nice noise but big money. A turbo build on an 86 revving to 8500rpm would be faster and with a load more torque and sound practically as nice.
