stephen 2 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Does this Pioneer steering wheel-fitted remote control work with the BRZ/GT86 Pioneer head unit? http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/pioneer-cd-sr100-av-steering-wheel-remote-control.html?gclid=CJbL5Nf1_MICFUoCwwodi20A5A
rob275 1817 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Hmm, not sure. It depends how it connects up I guess? If by bluetooth you may get some of the functionality but looks as if it's to be paired with certain pioneer specific headunits.
Bail 33 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 So.. randomly browsing the internetweb and I spots this: http://scontent-b-fra.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/10700391_10152461531917021_6323552640245168891_o.jpg That to me is the 86 dash, but with radio controls? Comes from the OZ spec 86, which as far as I knew was very similar to the UK one...
Deacon 1357 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Looks like a Yaris to me?
Keethos 842 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Yeah, def not an 86 dash. The binacle isn't that round and the 86 has the wing mirror adjusters on the door, not by the boot release button
keelerad 256 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Also has a rear setting on the washer/wiper stalk and we don't have no rear wiper Alec

stephen 2 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Bit more information on the CD_SR100: From Amazon: "The CD-SR100 is compatible with most DEH, AVH, and MVH Pioneer receiver models that are remote-capable." But mine is AVIC-F840BT From USA supplier Crutchfield: "The CD-SR100 is for use with Pioneer's IP-Bus receivers (compatible receivers will have a "P" in the model number)." Mine doesn't have a "P" Somewhere else I read that it uses Bluetooth.
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Yep, looks familiar! That will be bigger than an 86 steering wheel.
