Steeps 294 Report post Posted April 30, 2014 Is it fairly simple to do? I've got a stone chip on my rear wheel arch which has taken some of the blue off. Looking at getting it corrected but wanted to source the paint first.
Riceburner 284 Report post Posted April 30, 2014 Hi Steeps, How are you with a brush?Steady hand?If its just a small stone chip, and you use a fine artists brush you should be ok. Its not going to harm to give it a go.

Kodename47 446 Report post Posted April 30, 2014 Let me know when the white is about! I'd imagine that's almost impossible since I've heard the pearl white is actually 3 layers of different colours. Quite hard to do that in a bottle of paint

Steve said he can make me some up if need be as he makes up Like for Like paints for the GT86 Models but i'm not overly desperate
Special K 442 Report post Posted April 30, 2014 Rich - can you bring an EH8 kit to Lydden, please? If you've got one available. (Although the way I keep 'gravel-trapping' I'll probably need a dozen of 'em...) Spec K

Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted July 4, 2015 The best tip I was given with touch up kits was to ignore the brush and use a cocktail stick for chips to apply the paint. Much easier to build up the paint slowly using this method _____________________________________ www.im-tuned.uk
