Couldn't agree any more, picked mine up last weekend after getting the stage 1 upgrade. What a difference it makes, like you said it's completely a new car, the difference is unreal. Going through the 3 sound stages is addictive, feeling the turbo just pull. Anyone looking for a tuner to look after your 86 mike and the guys at tuning developements is the place to go. -

I'll be there for this. Hopefully will be at all the combe events with it being down the road for me -
After owning a rx8 myself which I loved, I would say that these cars are very similar. 86 is a very reliable car, there's one on here that's done 100k + and I believe hasn't had any issues with it. I would say the power deliver is very similar to that of the rx8 with the power coming in higher up the rev range. I had similar rust issues with my rx8 but haven't had any issues with my 86 and it's now 6 years old. You defiently won't be disappointed, it's a fun car to own and drive, always puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.

What did you use to stick them on with

Just seen this -
How does it run with the hks turbo, very tempted with the hks kit, wanting to see how it runs and if there's any future issues. Will definetly be keeping an eye on this
-
Won't be much progress now for a few months, although I will be keeping a close eye out for q aero front bumper. Plans for when I'm back will be a set of 18" alloy wheels, still not sure which ones yet but got plenty of time to decide.

Was planning on leaving my 86 as shes stands as i'm away with work for 4 months, but the Dom2497 was selling his HKS legamax sports exhaust which was to good to pass up, had to snap it up. recieved a week later and got it installed. the sound is amazing quiet low down and no drone at cruising speed, but when you open it up just wow, has a really raspy tone to it.

I had esso super unleaded in the tank
-
I'd definetly recommend tuning developments, the tune is awesome, complete chances the car. think I've just been unlucky as everyone else seems to pass the mot.
-
Got catless unequal lengh manifold and stock cat in the exhaust.
-
They tried it twice. Has you can see from the picture below, small decrease after being warmed up.
-
I've just recently bought a cat back exhaust, I'm looking to install it my self, just wondering what people recommend I use, either car ramps on axle stands?
-
Was good meeting you guys today. Hopefully will see you about at other shows
-
What time is everyone planning on getting there. I literally live round the corner so won't take me long. I stopped myself getting a track session, don't think I could risk it, as much as I would love to give it a go.
-
Now time to get it cleaned any ready for jdm combe tomorrow.

On Saturday I dropped my car into bodyworxs just outside of Bristol and after 4 days it was ready. Had the side skirts and spats resprayed and fitted on to my car. First off I would recommend the body shop to anyone, really helpful and professional. The work was completed to a high standard, definetly would use them again. Now to the car, really happy with the difference the aero styling makes, completely changes the stance.

Quick update, other week I was lucky enough to find someone who was breaking an aero edition, unfortunately it had front end damage so the bumper wasn't available but the got my hands on the skirts and rear spats. They are currently at the bodyshop getting sprayed up and preped to go on the car on the 25th June, ready for jdm the weekend after. Will get pictures up once there on the car.

Managed to get my hands on a set of aero side skirts and spats, just seeing if anyone has fitted a set and if so what is the best way of doing it, and if they have any recommendations.

Just booked my ticket for the club stand. Reminder for any one thinking of going ticket deadline is tomorrow.
