    Cobra Exhaust

Also decat front pipe does very little difference to noise levels on the standard exhaust. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
  2. You can't change the standard midpipe with the TD midpipe it will not fit. Changing the midpipe will have little effect keeping the standard backbox, and I am unaware of anyone who actually sells an off the shelf aftermarket one, so will be a custom job. You will need a full cat back system, midpipe and back box. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. The centre pipes will be changeable so worst case you get a different one from mike Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. Keep the standard cat back to be safe, see how you get one with just that. Won't be much louder than stock though. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

    Starting issue?

It's happened twice now but intermittently, yesterday after work and then this morning. Had two starts yesterday after the issue which where fine. It seems to take 3x as many cranks of the engine to fire up, good news is the new Toyota battery is managing to keep firing that starter motor. Really odd as it doesn't happen every time. Anyone else had this? Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

    Starting issue?

Rich put a fuel cleaner in, but I must admit it went away... I would sometimes press the power button without the clutch if it's been sat a while just to prime the pump for a little bit (you'll hear it whine) and then start the engine. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

Yeah, thanks shippers, just putting it out there just in case someone has some lying around Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
  9. Do they come with 17s on the performance pack? If the do, a good chance your standards will fit, maybe with a spacer. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

    James' '86 Build

They are not unsafe persae, but they are a weaker, heavier wheel and more prone to cracking. A forged wheel is stronger and lighter, but more expensive due to the amount of forming and machining required, alot more material is wasted as a result. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

    6 Year Service

It will be engine oil, dif oil, brakes fluid and plugs. And the plugs require them to raise the engine which turns the £320 quid full service into a £600 quid one. TD NA kit is fine, after all it's just aftermarket manifold, just mention that it has an aftermarket map. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

    Keeping it clean

Spent 3 weeks in the countryside back at my hometown for Christmas and the car got filthy! So I was taking some pictures and thought I'd share my cleaning process, this might turn into a detailing thread as I have plans to get my DA into work this spring. First off the state of the car. Lots of dirt and grime. First up the wheels, these get sprayed with a AG wheel protection spray can every wash, not the best but I'm using it up, works pretty well but does not last at all. Jet wash only turns them up pretty clean. Then with a full shampoo clean using BH auto wash, a noddle mitt and wheel woollies in bucket no. 1. Onto the paint work! As it was really grimey I though I'd hit it with all the tools. So after a jet wash to get rid of the big stuff first, a citrus pre-wash by valet pro 1:10 ratio, this is fairly weak for this much grime as normally I do a weekly wash. . Then it was onto BH Autofoam, and first time using this, used a mesto foamer. From what I understand 4% dilution and as long as you get the panel wet with the stuff it's working. Right so most of the grime is off now, time for the two bucket wash, again BH Autowash and my incredipad. Unfortunately I hadnt been able to put winter protection on so have been just using sonax bsd and Adams quick detailer 50:50 after every wash. The protection is still working ish after 3 weeks of grime washed away. And there she is after being dried down, windows cleaned with AG Fast glass, my quick detailer mix, AG tyre shine, AG wheel protector spray. And when picking up pizza that evening. Bit of a 3 way shot for instagram Why we use the 3 bucket method!! Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

    Oil temp/pressure gauge

OK so I actually purchased two of these and forgot. The second adapter the one I linked will work. Essentially the first i bought the diameter stepped down to a smaller size after the 1/8 thread if you get me. I checked the second one from merlin and that passes straight through, so should work.

    Oil temp/pressure gauge

https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/thread-adaptor-m18x1-5-male-to-1-8npt-female-adp-m18x15a If your temp sensor is the same as mine then there is a high chance this won't work as the sensor end won't fit through the bottom of the fitting... (see image) Hence why my temp sensor is where the standard oil pressure sensor is.

    Oil temp/pressure gauge

Hello there Mike, I've got that gauge although slightly different. Two options I've found, you can mount the temp sensor straight into the hole where the standard pressure gauge is (this doesn't through cel as its basically an on off switch for a light on the dash). And the pressure sensor can go in the top of the block in the galley hole next to the throttle body. You will need an adapter for this. I think its M18x1.5 to 1/8bsp. But I'll check. Or get a sandwich plate adapter like the blitz one that can fit 3 sensorszwhich is easier and simpler but costs an extra 70 quid.
