I've gone with a cat back, resonated Scorpion system, should be installed this week
Rtec (http://www.rtecshop.com/) did a great deal for me, couldn't turn it down!

1I have chucked him a PM, it is a 4 hour round drive for me without traffic, however!

Thank for the replies so far!
@Mike@TD.co.uk I love the idea of something new, and free fitting for the cat back resonated price is amazing, however you guys are just a little too far away for me.
I live in London

Howdy!
I am looking for an aftermarket cat back exhaust & some aftermarket alloys ...
Exhaust can't be stupidly loud , alloys are personal taste, so if you have some, chuck them up and i'll have a look.
No real budget in mind

Wow a whole host of replies, thanks to everyone that has commented!
Quite a collection of opinions, judging by the collective I think i'll stay away from Miltek, I thought i'd seen a post a while ago with welds cracking but it being resolved with a flexi pipe? Could be wrong though!
I don't have any plans currently to change manifold e.t.c however that may change in the future, I think for that reason a resonated exhaust would be better, keep the noise down.
Here's a question, if you could change your current exhaust (cat back) to another brand, type with no cost ... would you, and why? A lot of people may have a bias opinion because of their current setup, but given the option of changing, it may be a different story.
Oh and I like the idea of free fitting @Mike@TD.co.uk, I live in London with no drive way, so the days of fitting systems myself are long gone.
Thank you for all your responses so far!

Hi guys and girls.
Been a lurker of this forum for a very long time and I think it's time to actually start to ask questions, because my modification itch needs scratching, even though I said I wouldn't modify the 86
My previous car was a 3 cylinder, 1ltr with a HUGE exhaust which made loads of annoying noise on motorways and just in general, I don't want that for my 86.
I want an exhaust that makes noise when you put your foot down, but is quite tame on idle.
I know this is such an ambiguous question, it's all to do with personal taste, but any sort of direction would be awesome!
Thanks!

Thanks for the kind comments
Lauren, when you say it's a bit of a non-issue, what do you mean?

Hi All,
My previous car was a little small and slow, did a large amount of silly modifications, big exhaust, coilovers dropped right down. e.t.c e.t.c
But I have now moved on and grown up a little bit.
So I'm now part of the gang!
The only modification I have done so far is a TarmacSportz strut brace.
The paint work is in a terrible state with stone chips and general tiny dents here and there, the previous owner didn't really take much care of the outside!
Plans for her so far is very minimal due to warranties and such...
How long will that last ?

So yesterday I had installed a cat back Scorpion exhaust, resonated.
The exhaust itself looks great, the sound is very subtle!
At low revs to rumbles, at high revs it doesn't get too loud and it doesn't have any drone.
What I will say is if you're looking for a loud exhaust then this one isn't for you, it's much louder than stock, but can go quiet at points.
I personally love it
