I'm sure it's personal and don't feel like you need to give an answer but I'll ask anyway, why have you decided to sell? what you getting instead?

Also, I think that is a good price.

Only reason for sale is because i'm buying my first property and I need to be sensible. I'm not going to have the funds available to enjoy it on trakcdays and TSS etc any time soon so I figured someone else should play with it.

Cracking car to drive for the potential buyer! Rob was kind enough to let me have a go at it back a year ago!

    Moving onto anything exciting?

Thanks, not moving on to anything as of yet. I'm pretty much going to be boring for a few years and see how life pans out.

  2. A sad day indeed, but after much deliberation over the past week and driving it for the weekend to convince myself otherwise i'm putting my GT86 up for sale. Given the broad spectrum of pricing on the market at the moment, i'm struggling to gauge how much this car really is worth. I guess it's worth as much as anyone is willing to pay for it and given the amount included with the sale i'm going to put this up for £14,000.

Car has just come back from having it's 5 year Service and MOT at Abbey Motorsport, nothing bad to report!

Car will come with receipts/Invoices for all work carried out on the car along with full service history and a stamped book (once I go around and get 5 years of stamps!) Car has been maintained by Abbey Motorsport who i'm sure you all know and i'm sure Mark can vouch for the car.

    Engine

ECUTEK Tune (ECU Programming tool & dongle included with sale)

    HKS Super hybrid panel filter

    Exhaust

    OEM Exhaust

    Suspension / Bracing / Other

    TEIN Street Flex coilover

    TEIN EDFC active pro

    Aluminium propshaft

    Brakes

    Tarox front BBK

Dixcel HS Front/Rear Discs & Z type Pads (Fronts obviously not on the car!)

    Cosmetic

Five-Axis bodykit (minus the spoiler) smoothed in (Work carried out by RT Performance)

    Intec rear lights

Dark smoke window security tints on rear 3 windows

    Wheels

    ROTA Titan 17x9 ET42

    Bad Bits

I'm going to be as transparent as I can with the bad bits to the car so that any potential buyer knows so see below.

Front bumper could do with being remoulded as clips underneath are not intact and little crack on front (Cost approx 300)

Tow cap is cracked (I have a replacement already it just needs painting

Drivers side window has a scratch in it but functions correctly. This is a known fault that Toyota will be aware of (the runner & glass needs replacing)

Usual cracking on edge of fibreglass, needs touchups (these are minor things that nobody notices but I know they are there.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As above if you missed the price i'm looking for £14,000 though i'm open to offers. I'd prefer to just sell as is but if anyone wants a partout let me know  I'm going to dump some old pics in until I can actually get around to washing & taking some up to date pics of the car.

  3. Hi All,

I have up for grabs a set of OEM wheels which I need shifting out the garage due to moving and not having space

3 of these have primacies with good tread on them (6-7mm at a guess, can't find my tread gauge)

1 of them has a budget tyre which you'd probably want replacing but I only used these for emergencies so  a budget did me fine. It is literally brand new.

Price for all 4 £300 or £100 each for the wheels with primacies on, the ditch finder wheel i'll let go for £60

Fair enough but I can go to any Toyota dealer for that too not just where I got the car from? Is there any significant history with needing warranty work on there cars? Minus the battery issue I saw, my car is a 2016

You can go to any Toyota Dealership/Franchise they can all see the warranty history of your car.

That’s what I mean, turning up at a main dealer and asking for free warranty work is likely to be tricky if they haven’t had the profits off your servicing, does concern me as in this case it may be easier to take the servicing deal with the reduced rate I was offered?

They can't refuse warranty work because you haven't been there. But they do just refuse warranty work en general because they are cnuts. :)

Wouldn't be too difficult to make something go through the forum pages and grab photobucket images and upload them to imgur, the problem comes in editing the actual posts to update the links... although won't be impossible...

@rob275 how far back can people edit their posts?

Theres no time limit afaik I removed it. So forever :D

No, it's relying on a free service then bitching when it goes away and how much work it would take to set up elsewhere. Free hosts always come and go, changing conditions with subscription options and advertising packages.

Would you rather they just closed all the free hosting accounts instead, deleting all the data?

I think Jordans argument is the change had come with absolutely no warning what so ever, which is pretty shitty imo.

@smudge Imgur or Flickr are your best bet. Though there are Browser add-ons which fix it. Obviously only for you though lol.

Received mine. Thanks. At first I thought it was a love letter, got my hopes up.

No idea how they attach though.

Take bumper off, fix them to the underside of the clip already on the bumper either by using the supplied hardware or do what I plan on doing and fixing it to the bumper with some araldite or something. One per side I think they go on the clip nearest to the indicator.
