If it's soft after 1 lap there's air/moisture in the system.

No, I just changed the broken one in my lunch hour yesterday to find out if it had written off my engine. Suffice to say, I will be replacing the others ASAP.

I wonder if you have some air in the system. How old is the fluid? I use the same but bleed it every year at least, it seems ok.

I would love to get up there and see a couple of rounds, meet some of you guys and maybe participate later on. Would be great for a round at Thruxton or Combe etc. Though I know both these tracks are sticklers for noise limits.
Me, @KevinA and @DebbieJ travel from the wrong side of London. With any motorsport you have to be prepared for a road trip really!

I think the car will look great on those wheels, suspensions looks really good quality too. Before fitting and paying for alignment etc it might be worth getting into contact with HKS and asking what spring rates they are good with. I did this with KW so I knew the new springs I fitted would work ok. The damping may be great and you may get away with it, but 10kg would seem to be really hard! I don't think anyone racing in the sprint series is above 7kg on either end of the car.

Could well be the dealer who has fitted them.

Pointless having two sets of pads and dicking around having to change them. Mine work fine in all temperatures. There is no issues with running the AP four pot Reyland kit whatever you do with it.
You've started it now.

Depends on stock at Reyland and AP, mine took over 3 weeks.

Good luck with a turbo kit and OEM calipers on a track day. You'll need brake pads made out of Kryptonite to last a 20 min session.
-
You're right not to accept those, they're taking the piss.
A number of years ago I almost bought an S2000 until the Honda dealer replaced the worn out Bridgestones with Ling Longs and couldn't understand why I wasn't jumping for joy. Actually refused to change them, haha.

Says it has expired or reached a usage limit.

They are meant to be pretty decent, but I'd find it a bit weird to buy a Chinese product via the US. You're effectively paying import taxes twice.
-
That's good to know.

The Avo uses the OEM airbox unlike the other turbo kits, so draws in air from outside the engine bay, which is preferable. The turbos seem to be of lesser quality though.

I suppose on the positive side it'll compliment the 80's style clock on the dash.

If you're paranoid wouldn't a better option be to change some of the alarm settings? Iirc you can set it so you need a PIN code to start the car.

Nice one. I could do with a cat back but always find something more "sensible" to spend my money on.

For comparison this was mine with an Equal length FA20CLUB manifold at abbey, the rest stock apart from an air filter.
The torque on yours seems a lot smoother, and higher. I seem to have a bit more power.
I did the same as you, DIY fit. I tested with and without the bulb resonator and found the on-off throttle response was noticeably crisper with it fitted.

Chart line says that, but yellow figure is 181. I think the actual figure might be unreadable in the green box.

What was the end power figure? Struggling to make sense of that output.

Agreed it's rough, I refitted my OEM wheels with Primacy's for a day there last year and it was a good decision. Even they took a pasting.

I've got Will's fluid in mine, it is a bit hydroscopic being a race dot 4 but I've found it's not as bad as Motul dot 4's. Probably just needs a small interim bleed.
