VAD17 479 Report post Posted March 13, 2019 Question for those who have experience/ knowledge with changing gear shift knob, particularly for AT. AT thread is 10x1.25 while MT is 12x1.25. I am considering whether I can use 10 to 12 adaptor (something like one in the link) and then just screw 12x1.25 gear knob (or use already provided 12x1.25 adaptor in the Raceseng Apex R knob). https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JDM-shift-gear-knob-adapter-to-fit-thread-10x1-25-and-will-convert-to-12x1-25/222464441530?hash=item33cbe9fcba:g:9r4AAOSw1RVafFRz Ebay adaptor also has a small lip, but I guess it would be too small to serve as a gear stick boot retainer (in AT knob its integrated into the knob itself). Would appreciate any suggestions
vanko25 70 Report post Posted March 13, 2019 Vad, I guess you can always use 12mm penny washer that will pinch between the gator between itself and the knob. 1 VAD17 reacted to this
