LeviDane 14 Report post Posted March 30, 2018 Hi all, i just picked up some new alloys (JR21's 18 x 18.5 wrapped in 225/40/18 ) and fitted them. I initially wasn't going to lower the car but now i feel like it needs to because it looks too high and the arch gap is too much. I have the Aero front which lowers the front about 20/25mm already and i do not want to be scraping everywhere. I am looking for a very modest 15mm drop with some lowering springs. 1. People with a 15mm drop please show me your pictures so i can get an idea of how it sits 2. Anyone with an aero or trd that has been lowered tell me how you get on? Pics if possible. 3. What are some good springs recommendations for a 15mm drop and keep it as close to OEM feel as possible?
surrey86 352 Report post Posted March 30, 2018 There's going to be hardly anyone with a 15mm drop as lowering springs generally start at around 25mm. I think there are some TRD springs are 15mm, but don't know of anyone with them.
MartinT 514 Report post Posted March 30, 2018 Is the Aero lowered by springs? If so, you'll be looking for 35mm lowering springs from stock, which gives you a much better choice. Like the H&R Super Sport springs I have.

But the front lip lowers the front end by about 20mm. Making it harder to drop further without having scraping issues

I haven't yet, but i do plan on dropping it by 15/20mm. I just can't help but look at it and think it looks too high lol.
