Squadrone Rosso 82 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 Afternoon all, Is there no increase in pressures when the car is loaded up? Do they stay at the recommended 35psi regardless? Unlike our other cars, neither the pillar sticker nor the manual say anything about increasing when loaded up...... Cheers, Simon
rob275 1817 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 I tend to run mine at 31-32 so i'm sure 35 will be fine
KobayashiMaru 28 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 Are people running these at 32 with just the driver?
long-gone 152 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 Are you running on tyres with a stiffer sidewall then? Ooer missus!
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 It doesn't really matter, it's not like you can add a huge amount of weight. 35 psi will be fine. 1 Squadrone Rosso reacted to this
Church 209 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 I usually run at suggested by manual pressures daily driving all around a year, be it on winter or summer tires, with checking pressure monthly, with two exceptions, both related to track. - i let out some air due heat that gets in tires after track abuse - when i hadn't yet installed camberbolts & lca and had stock alignment instead of wished one, i let out more air from front tires, as cheap hack to change grip bias to deal out some understeer/add more grip to front. Less pressure = less sharp steering though due more sidewall flex. For what one would want to run less then spec pressure? If it's to change/fix something elsewhere (eg. lack of grip for currently used tires, or stock grip balance not to one's taste), then despite cheapness of such 'mod', it's better done at right place, instead of compromising fuel economy & steering's sharpness. (one may gain more comfort though).
