HariboPenguin 116 Report post Posted August 27, 2016 Just wanted to say thanks for the amazing service by @Riceburner and the rest of the staff at RRG when I took my car in yesterday to get the battery replaced and cold 2nd gear + buzzing gear stick issue fixed under warranty. They were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They even carried out the recall whilst I was up there to save me having to travel back up again. HariboPenguin 116 Report post Posted August 29, 2016 They replaced the gear stick assembly to fix the buzzing issue and that apparently helps with the 2nd gear problem too. Think they may have also adjusted something, can't remember exactly what he said. 2nd gear appears to be much better so far + changing gear in general seems much smoother, it was a bit clunky before especially when cold or at high revs. True test will be when it comes to the winter months. 1 Tom B reacted to this Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
