Deacon 1357 Report post Posted April 3, 2016 Had my third year service and first mot last week. One of the things I thought was quite interesting was the brake pad wear. After 3 years and 23000 miles (including numerous days sprinting and a fair amount of fast road use) my fronts are worn 20% and my rears 10% so by my reckoning that means the front pads should be good for 15 years of use and the rears 30! Lauren 2259 Report post Posted April 3, 2016 It depends how heavy you are on the brakes, though that's pretty heavy, Ian. I'm very light on brakes. The Stoptech pads I was given seem to be doing very well and work well on track, they are proving to be an absolute bargain compared to stock pads. They do squeal but not as much as stock pads do.
