Deacon 1357 Report post Posted December 21, 2015 Hello friendly insurance companies! How do insurance companies feel about swapping the stock side airbag equipped seats for fixed back buckets and what sort of premium change would you expect this to attract? Thank you and Merry Christmas!

ChrisKnottIns 11 Report post Posted January 8, 2016 A mod-friendly insurer should be able to accommodate this. What they'll charge for the mod will depend on the individual insurer. Please give us a call if we can help with an annual quote. best, Nick
charged 10 Report post Posted January 8, 2016 A good specialist (ie modification friendly) insurer would not load your premium for a change of seats. The specialist insurer I worked for for 6 years would usually only load if you went the whole hog and stripped everything out and fitted a roll cage. A standard insurer (ie the likes of companies you would find one comparethemarket would most likely be unable to accommodate the modification and may cancel your policy if the you stated the seats were already fitted.
