smudge 1020 Report post Posted November 14, 2015 So my Perrin 3" air intake with a foam filter arrived from the States during the week. They recommend cleaning it with a brand that doesn't seem to be available in the UK Has anyone else got or had a foam air filter and what did you use to clean and re oil it? Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted November 15, 2015 High power turbo applications in excess of 300bhp (I believe) have the potential to suck oil off the filter, although it could be people who saturate the filter when they reoil them.
