Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted June 2, 2015 Hi all The car I am about to buy is 3 years old in September and has done 18,000 miles It was serviced on its 1st and 2nd anniversary. Is it due it's next service at 20,000 miles or in September (given that it has had its second service which would normally be at 2yr/20,000) Thanks Ste Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
nikndel 509 Report post Posted June 2, 2015 I would have thought September unless you manage to get to 30000 before then but I have no doubt someone will tell me if I am wrong
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted June 2, 2015 It's basically 10K miles or yearly whatever is sooner. The answer is it will be September or sooner once you have done 10K miles since the last service. Sorry Nick. That's wrong! 1 Gringosteve reacted to this
Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted June 2, 2015 Cool so it will be September for me. Service manual says gear and diff oil change at 20,000. Could that be pushed to sept or is it needed at bang on 20,000 to maintain the 5yrs cover Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mike 458 Report post Posted June 2, 2015 I would have thought that was changed on it's 2nd service? My understanding is you don't go over 1 year or 10k miles between services.
Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted June 2, 2015 Ahh cool thanks. May get it changed in September as a precautionary measure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mike 458 Report post Posted June 2, 2015 Does it not mention it in the log book? Either way, I'd check with dealer as they should know for certain...
