Twigman 93 Report post Posted December 23, 2014 The trickiest part of which is disconnecting the electrical connector for the switch panel etc - I couldn't do it on mine - it refused to unplug- so fitted my speakers with the door card hanging from the loom! Guest Report post Posted December 24, 2014 Nice little video there Ian. Thanks for posting. With regard to the tool you suggest from Amazon, I would recommend any DIY Car guy or girl to buy one. I've had mine for years and have used it on my '86 more than any other car. It is a great tool for removing the poppers found literally everywhere on our cars. Just open them up, then slide the tool under the head to pull out, it saves you bending up the edges of the popper with your fingers. One vital tip though, if you use the tool for removing door cards etc., wrap at least three layers of masking tape around the shaft to prevent damage to the paintwork.
