smudge 1020 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 Noticed this on the way to work this morning, that something from the engine is "squeaking" and is most noticeable at around 3k rpm (haven't really gone above this tbh) and get's a bit louder when you let off the gas Had a look under the bonnet and can't see anything obvious, checked the belt for the Sprintex and all the pulleys are tight and running straight and true Only seems to happen when the car is cold/warming up. Once up to temperature and been running for 20mins+ it goes away I think Any ideas? Appreciate that "squeak from the engine" is a bit vague...

rob275 1817 Report post Posted August 5, 2014 It's normal, there really is no point replacing it, it will only come back.
