Anybody used an outdoor cover for winter storage?

Contemplating the winter and considering packing the 86 away when the time comes and sticking to the Mazda through the worst of the winter.

Rather than leave the 86 out exposed to the elements I am thinking of getting a decent tailored waterproof breathable cover.

Anyone any experience with these?

Can anyone recommend a proper winter cover that isn't going to flap about and damage the car? (my boss used a tent like cover last year which did £10k of damage to his DB7!!!!)

I used one of these for about 2-3 months while the garage was full of stuff from my old house:

As I look out of my office window I view 'Concours Auto Products' who trade as "Cover-Zone".

 

They make bespoke auto covers and I chatted with them a year or so ago. As far as they were aware no-one made a cover for the GT86... but if you liaise with them they can use my car as the template if necessary...
