ob1kxb 13 Report post Posted January 15, 2014 John Button, father of Britain's most beloved F1-driver Jenson Button, died last Sunday. Wikipedia speaks of him succumbing to a heart attack at his home in the south of France. He will be sorely missed, both by fans around the world and the entire F1-scene. Keethos 842 Report post Posted January 16, 2014 RIP, I know of quite a few cases of people who suddenly die of heart attack/failure, just out of the blue and to relatively fit and healthy people and in one case, a promising athlete

Special K 442 Report post Posted January 16, 2014 I was at Lydden Hill in 1972 when John Gott - Chief Constable for Northants - had a heart attack at the wheel of his Austin Healey 3000 and was killed. (At least, that's what the post mortem said..) What a way to go, eh?... doing what you love to do... Spec K
