Upgraded to Pro and enterede the Beta program.

Only thing I have changed are opening the trunk with double click (I did this in my Volvo S60, so I'm glad to get back to this) and I set auto-headlights to "lighter".

I like both shows. One thing Fifth has going for them is Vicki Butler-Henderson, I have a small crush on her

A lot of them are quite clueless - comparing a torque steering hot hatch with the GT?!

I'm still smiling every day I drive to work, and that is even with out having to drift around every corner and roundabout

I spent many years in the RS owners club ( I've since had counselling) and got very frustrated with people that thought if a car didn't have 400 hp+ it was slow and boring. These were the same folk that preferred to go to pub meets and shows and park up all day polishing and cleaning them!
Whenever I suggested track days or a trip to the ring or spa they seemed more worried about stone chips and adding mileage than driving the flipping things.
There is a place for cleaning and polishing and as I make a living from that I can't really complain, however the GT owners club is the club for DRIVERS and all you guys seem to "get it".
BHP is a good thing but without control or handling it means nothing (American cars spring to mind).

I don't have a 400hp car anymore but do I enjoy the GT any less, far from it. It is honestly more fun than ANY car I've owned.

    Rant over ......

    Hi guys

I'm from Denmark, my name is Lars, and I just bought a new GT86.

Being from Denmark there is not much of a community around that car. There are Toyota Owners Clubs, but as there is only sold around 12 of these cars in the whole of Denmark, its kind of a "narrow" Owner group

Thats why I have come here - I have already read some interesting forum-threads, and I have ordered a OBDII Bluetooth interface just to try it out.

Another thing about being from Denmark, afterpartsmarket is VERY limited, so I hope to get some good ideas off this site too

Oh, and just to let you know, the car that are costing you around 22.000 punds, cost me (hold on to your seats) 38.000 pounds due to 180% taxes on cars in Denmark

Finally a picture of the beauty (the sticker with Probiler has been removed, its the dealers name)

LarsB got a reaction from Polishingpedlar in How long do you plan to keep your 86/BRZ?
Well I will be keeping mine for some years.

It is my everyday drive, and with the price of cars in Denmark, we don't have the luxury of change wheels that often - or, I dont at least.

The GT86 cost me just about one years salary (give or take) including the loss on my Volvo that the GT replaced.

So, I will as it seems right now, be married with my GT the next 8 years, and I am looking forward to every day with the car

Agree with Rob, I used one for my Tomtom, but the new one I got for Xmas is probably too big for the Brodit, so I have just ordered the clip for my phone instead so I can use that for Torque

I also have used a Nexus 7 for Torque with it hanging in a mount from the air vents over the head unit but wasn't really a practical solution

I had used the Brodit in my Celica as well, the good bit is that you can just buy each part separately so it works if you upgrade the device or downgrade your car (there can't be an upgrade from an 86). Also if you regularly use more than one vehicle they do a slide in adapter that lets you transfer the phone mount from one vehicle to another

Just remekber there arebtwo parts. One is the mount itself (based on the car) and the other is the phone mount. (which screws to the car mount and is based on your device)

Its more expensive, but its the most solid mount ive ever had!
