Would you say it’s worth it then for the £300 whatever price

Just now, Tom21 said:I got tuning developments lightweight flywheel when I changed my clutch, I do love it, you can tell it revs a bit more freely (more noticeable for me on decel) although i have lightweight water pump, crank and Alternator pulleys aswell
I wouldn't say it will give you a big power increase and it is a little easier to stall but like anything it's up to you.

Is it loud? Lightweight flywheels tend to make a loud noise

How many miles / months has it been turboed for

On the track I tend not to let the oil go above 115°c, no particular reason, and I've taken it as high as 120°c (all with turbo).
So if it kicks in at 70 then my cold starts shouldn’t be effected ?

Just now, Deacon said:An oil cooler should sort it out without too much issue especially on the road. With an oil cooler fitted I don't think you'll trouble the temps much on the road and will probably want to block it come winter time.
Does it not auto block when the cars cold

Do you have an oil cooler and is it on track or the road?
Well currently I just have the TD NA KIT so no oil cooler no. I’m doing stage 1+ oil cooler + clutch on the 29th so I was just trying to learn how to monitor my cars health etc.
oh and road use

What temp is the point where you should slow down. I just got TORQUE PRO and I reached 114 degrees quite easily

If you go to myalloys and say jay recommended you to me you will get 10%-15% off but to do trade prices u would have to go through BMW which would be much more complicated.

Did you not buy this with the rest of the cat back system?

Opinions on changing to a lightweight flywheel when I uprate my clutch for turbo kit? Just curious if anyone has done it for a real opinion
thanks:)

Is this louder than the stock resonator or just a nicer sound but same volume? With ur turbo

How loud was ur exhaust with the turbo. I’m going turbo on the 29th of September I currently just have the NA kit. How will this compare to my stock res

Yeah fully agree, I was hoping somebody here would have driven one to compare

Yeah true, I think the brz/86 looks way way way nicer that’s all we can say so far is looks though true

Just now, MartinT said:Well Ok, I'm just saying that a charger needs consideration and is a very different way of boosting than a turbo, and drives differently.
What’s ur opinion between SC GT86 vs GR86
-
Just now, MartinT said:Neither. A supercharger.
Okay well GR86 vs supercharger gt86 opinions. I just meant boosted in general
-
Just curious what people’s opinions on the two are, a turbo gt86 or stock GR86 with maybe one exhaust mod.
I expected there to be more comparisons between these two online but I don’t see any. -

Yeah I get what he is saying 😂but just driving to work if I stay under 3k rpm I will be like NA

Mines 25.5 currently so hell yeah it is😂

2 hours ago, AndyK said:Similar to Martin, it came down to having instant torque delivery and general responsiveness. Car has plenty of low down grunt now, and power continues nicely higher in the revs. Ultimately, it's an expensive purchase either route (both transform the car) so if you don't have a clear preference in your mind perhaps give Abbey (I'd recommend these guys from my experience) or Fensport a call, and if their demo cars are avaliable it'll help you decide.
Thanks I might try do that actually

And these things divide opinion, such is their nature!
PS, I thought after the poor manifold install experience of missing a nut and a bolt, TD was out of your consideration. Fensport do AVO turbo which is a much better OE like design, similar to what Subaru have in their WRX cars. Why not consider them, if you still insist on turbo and keeping the car above 3/ 3.5K RPM to keep the turbo spooling..

I think the TD kit looks cooler than avo and as a daily driver a turbo gets better MPG vs a supercharger plus that lag means when the turbo kicks in it makes the car feel faster even if it is no faster I find. I like the screamer pipe also.
