If that's a static test, you'll be fine. I was 95db with non-res milltek and the EL manifold. Switched to the super res catback and it's quieter - idles similar to completely stock when warm but when you give it some beans there's still plenty of noise.

I'm hopefully having a look this weekend so will let you know what I find as well

7 hours ago, Lauren said:They do, but that doesn't work on our cars at least if you want a full service, so diff oil etc. That's what I've found anyway, so the service prices haven't got cheaper now my car is six years old.
You need to speak to Rich 😉

I don't think you even need to be in accessory mode to do it, just press the bottom button until it cycles round
-
That's the right place afaik, not fitted mine yet but that's where I plan on fitting it to. The only longer bolt you get is for the rear seat belt mount I think.

Cool, think I know what you mean. Probably gives a stopper on the adaptor so the sensor doesn't go too far through
One I'm looking at doesn't so sensor should just go through
-
Is there a way to check before buying? Suppose I could just get the adaptor and gauge and go from there.
Kinda confused how it can't screw through what is essentially a hole that it's meant to be screwed into!
-
Won't fit as in it won't touch oil or the sensor won't screw in to the adaptor?
-
Cheers Sam, from further research I'll probably go with a t piece + extension for the pressure (connect stock one + gauge sensor to it) - I found it's not good to connect the sensor direct to the engine as they can crack and the extension bit should make it neater.
Temperature can go in the plug you mentioned for the pressure apparently so that should work fine, can you double check the thread/size for the adaptor?
-
Looking at getting a gauge for oil pressure / temperature, specifically http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/Product/Signature Series Gauge Oil pressureOil Temperature (SS-301) as it'll show both at the same time.
What are the recommended take off points for the pressure / temperature sensors? I believe I'll probably need adaptors in some way so any details around fittings would be appreciated too

Is it a squeaky sound while the pedal is moving? If so, it's probably just the fork that needs greasing, nothing needs replacing.

Before I got my clutch replaced, mine would rattle for a few seconds after putting the clutch down. Read a few reports of people ignoring it and it eventually going and taking the gearbox with it. I left it just over a year and then got the clutch replaced when funds allowed. Didn't get it done under warranty, didn't ask as I figured it's part of the clutch and so a wearable item and not under warranty, and more importantly, I had an aftermarket one fitted.

@86guns surprised DL went anywhere near you with a modified car, that generally means a no go with them. I had a year with them and when cancelling the auto renewal they were more than happy to work on the price but as soon as I said I was planning on modifying it the renewal was cancelled within seconds.
As for CK, they were fine with me when I was insured with them, could get mods added just by sending them a PM on here. Only downfall was with their actual provider who was funny over parts of the car being wrapped which pushed the premium up so it was higher than other brokers. I'm not the only one to have the issue with CK, well, it's not strictly CK, it's their deals with the insurers they use.

Admiral Rodney is showing £77 directly, booking.com and hotels.com
Boston PI is £29 still but some distance away but doable
-
I'm going to look for a cheap Premier Inn then I might enter.
They need to stop putting the price up, £170 for 6 runs is silly...
-
Had a look this morning, probably got about an inch gap on mine.
-
Mines quite close, closer than 2 inches, might check it tomorrow!
-
Upload a picture when you can. The clip holding the wrap on mine rusted itself apart so had the wrap come loose a bit until I replaced the clip
-
I plan on getting the reyland kit at some point, seems fine.
-
+1
With things like LetsEncrypt it should take less than half an hour to sort out and not have to worry about again with automatic renewals
-
I just left mine going off, stopped after a bit as the battery completely died. Can't you just disconnect the battery?
-
Yep, only interested in the TSS people and tyres for the TSS rounds.
My rears need replacing and I'm debating whether its worth it getting new v105s but don't want it to just be on them in the TSS as it'll be a tad pointless
-
As there's no TSS 2019 sub-forum (yet), figured I'd ask here
For the street going rabble, what tyres are we all using? I know there was a majority shift towards PS4s, is anyone sticking on V105s or is everyone going PS4s for
nextthis year?

With their manifold it is most definitely louder than stock...
