  1. Everything now off the car and all labelled ready for new owner.

will get some pics of complete kit up tomorrow for those interested.

for those that have asked I will purchase new airbags for the front when a deposit has been taken so as to give new  owner the option of sourcing there own slim bags If they so desire.

  2. Will shortly be selling an airlift 3p complete set up c/w 2 compressor’s.

only been driven on for about 3 miles before popping both front bags🤬🤬🤬seems with my wheels it won’t work unless I smash he’ll out of turrets which I’m not prepared to do so my loss is your gain.

as soon as my new coil overs turn up I will remove from car and replace both front airbags with new ones before collection.

looking for £2750 for everything collection only from Devon.

here’s a pic of boot build which will come with it.

Getting back onto the topic of the actual start up screen, I've had a go at making one for myself. I wanted one in the same style as the OP, but with the Toyota logo instead of Subaru.

However, I then decided to add a little bit of flair. I just did a google search for "GT86 silhouette" and found a a beautiful outline image of the car posted by someone on Reddit years ago (so please, all credit to them as the original artist). I then also just searched for the Toyota logo on a black background and hey presto, manage to make what I think is a nice bootup screen :)

Hard to take a photo of it in car due to the amount of glare, so I've attached the files here as well as .bmp images, if anyone wants to use them. You can just use them with @Shad's .txt file, just ensure the image is named "image1.bmp" on the USB stick.

I believe this unit also supports custom wallpapers, so I might see if I can use the silhouette there as well.

Happy to help, I fitted one a couple of months ago (great unit by the way, aside from a couple of minor/annoying software bugs). Here's what I used:

Most of the bits are available from multiple places so shop around, but AVOID Car Audio Centre like the plague - see

Also, the brackets for the fascia kit needed a bit of fettling for the perfect fit, but judge for yourself on the outcome: https://imgur.com/a/Bix4c4r

Thanks for the help mate all parts ordered now.

Already bought the stereo from car audio centre so hopefully there will be no problems but will keep an eye on it.
