As promised. I literally do what everyone else has done. I didn't use a tool for this either, literally just my fingers and my spare time.
Up behind the mirror tucked under the trim
Along the top and down the A pillar.
Down the side into the glove box.

Glorious mess of wires I haven't got round to sorting.
I have 2 cables as I have a rear dash cam as well. That goes under the roof lining all the way to the back.
It's extremely easy. -
Hey everyone.
I am just testing the waters here but would any of you guys and gals be interested in a West Yorkshire meet/drive and maybe some scram after or before?
I think it would be a good idea, just depends on how many people are interested! -
It's very easy. I have cables hidden for both from and rear dashcams. No pics atm but will take some later or maybe a video to show you how I have done it.

Could be your tyres as well. If you have grippy tyres then that can make a massive difference.
I know most of the people on here have better tyres then the primacys. -
I have like 2mm left so it's going to have to be a mis for this one.
I would rather have new tyres first. By then I will know the car better as well.
Plus Cadwell is closer as well -
Some cracking photos here!
Great job! -

I might do, then again I need a new set of shoes for my 86 I am worried that I might bin it lol.
There is only 3 days left for the window as well :/ -
Why you getting rid?
Going full racecar mode? -
So now it's literally down to luck and if you get pulled it depends on what type of person pulls you and how nice they are.
Would you guys say it's worth the risk?
I do like the look of the JDM style plate relocation. It think it suits the 86 better. -
ADM GT86 huh?
I would like to see this in person! -
I'd be up for it.
Providing it's not rough. -

Oh the people who have the plates in their window on the dash.

I might be going. If I did would I need track insurance?
I read the site and the bouts are short and sweet, I am worried they would completely drain my tyres and brakes....would this be the case?
Or would it be safe enough for me to drive there, sprint and then drive home without worrying? -
So it seems it's more effort then it's worth
I will stick to my normal plates.
Thanks for everyones help! -

So what you are saying is "it is illegal".
Interesting. If it's illegal then it's a no no. I figure that import cars have the square plates (mainly because they cannot have the full size ones due to the body limitations as Japanese etc).
Surely if they are legal this should be? As long as the plate is visible and can be seen by cameras and the authorities it counts?

Anybody had any experience with the below?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-GT86-FRS-BRZ-Grimmspeed-License-Plate-Relocation-Kit-/161974315944
I am interested to know what size plate it takes and if we can get said size plates here in the UK and if they are legal?
