Hi Everyone, here is Fensport Avo Turbo No 9 this time a manual car and going for stage 2 with electronic boost control and of course a clutch upgrade to handle the power On the ramp and taking gearbox out Gearbox out Ready to re fit Lightweight steel flywheel from Helix Uprated clutch fitted with organic driveplate - keeps it nice to drive on the street Oil cooler kit now developed for cars with intercoolers This car has AP front and rear brake kits Intercooler fitted and turbo installed ceramic coated and wrapped Nearly there and outside looking awesome 1st mapping session done, a little more to do and it will be ready

That's right, throttle angle on a turbo car is not the "whole story" ..... what works nice on the turbo cars with electronic boost control is "boost vs throttle position maps" which makes for a nice easier transition when cornering on the limit, eg half throttle half or low boost and full throttle full boost We are already doing this with all turbo conversions that have electronic boost control

Hi everyone, yes there is a new version of Ecutek coming for end users, I'll start a thread about it later, we will be supporting it. There is also a new version of RaceRom which includes 4 switchable throttle maps as well I'll update more soon as we get the whole story including prices etc

Huge thanks Keith and everyone for your positive comments The differences between cars / fuel / mods is quite astounding and proves there is no such thing as "one map fits all" . Keithos car was quite different to Jays in the ignition side .... all down to different fuel ...

Hi All,We're off to a photo shoot and will be performance testing both GT86's tomorrow so will get 0-60 data etc for the turbo cars, will also have a standard GT86 from Toyota on hand for comparison and will let you know the results shortly :)Both cars will be on the cover and there will be full features in the mag very soon :)Cars ready to go ....

No cat on this one, the stock exhaust isn't so bad at stage 1

Little update .... the 2nd cat has gone it's so restrictive so it's binned!! Stock exhaust is doing well though Will finish the mapping in the morning

Cheers Guys, I reckon the Street car would do 5.7 ...5.8 if it was a manual it sits on the line for what seems like an eternity before deciding to move ....

Hi Ian, yes he is having the 3 bar map sensor and overboost cut, but no breather as he wants a very basic install, it still has 2nd standard cat which will keep the power down ... I'm loving the flexibility of the turbo kit

Using Chrome here and all working fine It has been bloody cold here in Chatteris and our nice insulated workshop can be like a fridge at the mo thank god for space heaters What you want doing Keethos? I'm sure we can fit you in

Huge thanks to Keelerad for posting this .... Sorry I haven't been on forums much we have been so busy Also thanks to Banzai too for the excellent feature, the photos and words are both fantastic We did do some straight line testing but the race car gearbox is getting a little tired on the synchros (hard life) and it was difficult to get in to gear, and the auto is just USELESS at launching hence the slow 0-60 kkkk .... excuses excuses lol
