  1. Ah cool, glad for a spotted to work! I'll respond to the wave if seen in time! There's a red '65 plate (I work with him) and then a blue I think that I haven't seen for a while. Had seen a ginger quite regularly a few months back, but not since.
  2. A successful wave as we passed near the station. Passed quite a few times now, car looks great.
  3. I finally used the offer tonight, all went smoothly. The 'authorising transaction' stage seemed to take almost a minute, my only criticism, but I'll have to try again to see if this is normal. The PayPal transaction notification showed straight away (for £5 less that I'd fuelled up with as expected).
  4. Makes filling up that little bit less painful. Spotted this deal on the HotUKDeals site here, so credit to the OP there. Get £5 off your tank of fuel with Shell Fill Up & Go when you pay for fuel with the Shell App. How to get this offer: 1) Tap 'Save Offer' and log in to your PayPal account when prompted. Link to save offer to your PayPal account: https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/offers?view=details&offerId=UDAXQWFW43Z64 2) Make sure you have downloaded the Shell App, registered for Fill Up & Go and linked your PayPal account to Fill Up & Go before visiting a Shell Service Station 3) Spend £5 or more on fuel at at Shell with Fill Up & Go, and pay with PayPal. Your credit will be automatically redeemed. This offer is valid until 4,000 credits have been saved into customers’ PayPal accounts, whereby the offer will expire.
  5. I haven't used it yet, had an issue with my Shell account, received a phone call from Turkey today that turned out to be their support calling back! My Shell account is all linked to PayPal now, so hopefully good to use. I'll probably use it in the next couple of weeks - will confirm the result.

    Dashcam cable hiding

I was looking this weekend at the neatest way to install the wiring. This might be the video referenced earlier in the thread, seemed a decent job to me -
  7. Yup, the 4,000 allocations for this offer have now been used up, but for anyone that saved it you have until the end of October to redeem.
  8. Glad it's of use to some. Looks to me like the Shell website is still struggling, but the offer is still available to save via the PayPal site (link in first post).
  9. Three do charge you MMS rate if you add an emoticon e.g. rather than : ) to an SMS message AND your handset converts it to MMS. Various articles out there, but for example linked to them also bumping the cost of MMS - http://www.mirror.co.uk/money/three-just-doubled-sneaky-text-7989597 Keep in mind it's things like adding a photo, sending a contact card etc that will also trigger this. You can call them up and ask them to block this on your account (essentially they put a block to not charge anything outside of your regular free allowance, if that doesn't include MMS, you can't send one). As someone has mentioned above just stick to the ASCII options ; ) EDIT - What handset does she have? May also be possible to stop it converting SMS to MMS. E.g. for some Samsungs (and potentially other Android handsets) - http://innov8tiv.com/fix-sms-converting-to-mms-in-galaxy-and-other-android-phones-guide/

  11. Hi all, I picked up my '14 plate black GT86 at the weekend, under 15k on the clock. All the spec I was after, manual, mainly black inside, full leather, heated seats, sat nav, bluetooth etc. I'm still in a bit of shock to be honest, I'd been watching the second hand market for a while and wasn't expecting to buy quite as quickly! Looking forward to taking it on a longer run this weekend. A few pics here.
