It's just the pad material. Nothing you can realistically do. Mine squeak all the time (when I'm braking). I think I've just got used to it. 
 
Your other option is to change to non standard brake pads. That might help.

For those of you who do not know I have recently spent 11 days in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Since this was the second trip some friends and I were taking, we wanted to see some FRS and BRZ models whilst out there as well as visiting some mod shops etc. The Scion FRS sells far more then the GT86 but all things considered still has the rare factor all our cars posses. So long(er) story short I found out via Facebook there was a meet in Vegas on the Friday we arrived there.
 
We went along and as you can imagine everyone was very nice and welcoming and very interested in our cars and how we do things over here! So out came my camera roll to share pictures from events and some of the cars we have from the group. The only thing I will say is these photos are not my fault! For the life of me I have no idea why they chose the least lit part of a very big car park!

I would have liked to talk through some of them like the wheels being fitted from the Subaru Outback for off road rallying in Nevada but I could only upload via the third party due to having so many pictures.
 
One thing I found very interesting was the sheer number of meets. There are two a week in Vegas and three in Los Angeles which are said to be bigger. We met people visiting from other States like Arizona and they too so between 2-3 meets a week. Vegas (for anyone ever going) do a cruise every Wednesday and meet every Friday like the one I attended.
 
Some bullet point worthy info;
White and Silver most popular colours Red is rare Ginger is unheard of (whoops!) BRZ are more rare then the FRS so actually making them more in demand BRZ have a blue series which is very nice in my opinion FRS have a 10 Series in a (interesting) Silver Ignition colour and have 10,000 of these FRS also now have 2,500 RS 1.0 like the one i was lucky enough to see And im sure if im forgetting something Awais will remind me Sorry for grammer and punctuation mistakes!

Noticed this a few times so thought I'd ask the question..

Pulled up from the drive home from work just now and noticed my fuel light was on long before the needle has even reached the red part of the reserve.



I have never been brave enough to have played chicken with the fuel gauge, but when the car is switched off I do notice the needle goes a very far way down past the reserve mark.

Why is it then that the low fuel light comes on so early when apparently I have a huge portion of the tank left according to the gauge?

It's obviously nothing too important, but the thought popped into my head and so I thought I'd ask

When do people on here feel the need to fill up and how low do you go? How far do you normally get in terms of miles in the reserve tank??

Since last 3 weeks, rear brakes are squeaking any time I brake in any condition. Cold, warm, wet, dry, slow driving but not fast driving. This happens only when I apply the brakes. I was reading and many owner has squeaky brakes. I wonder is it under warranty or abnormal wear or anything else. The car has around 12000 miles on the clock... I checked the rotors and front ones has more wear than rears. I didn't notice any scratches or discolouring or rust. I was having squeaky brakes before intermittently but now it is getting louder and every time when I apply the brakes I can hear them squeaking. Any suggestions?

Test carried out, knocking from both still apparent.

Have contacted them back to see where to go next.

Have also been doing some research, spoken with a few others who've had the problem, one who's investigating now also. As well as spoken with another retailer who has had no issues with any kit they've supplied and fitted bar one recently which was returned and rectified. So we shall wait and see!

Off to Snet on 14th April to get some more practice. Need to get the StreetFlex setup sorted and find out how it performs on my local circuit.

Hopefully my ride and handling guru can attend, to show me where I'm going wrong.

Happy to give passenger rides between testing if any local members can spare the time.
