toyokid 27 Report post Posted September 17, 2013 I have replaced some of my exhaust, which makes her noisier on startup, but not much more so when warm, I am now looking to replace the rear pipe which has a small silencer and bolts to the rear box, which can only make matters worse. Looking for solutions, one of which could be an ecu tune? For those that have done so, is it possible to reduce the startup enrichment? Thanks Stephen
rob275 1817 Report post Posted September 17, 2013 yes it's possible, but bare in mind it's there for a reason. You can reduce it a tad with no issues though

GT86Jay 202 Report post Posted September 19, 2013 I asked Adrian if it was possible at Fensport. Apparently you can but it's A) there for a reason. By making it slightly quieter you would then have to have it louder for longer. Adrian's conclusion was there's not much you can do about it apart from physical resonator. EcuTek tune won't help. Mark@Abbey M/S 235 Report post Posted September 20, 2013 Do you mean the way the car is noisy when you cold start the car? The calibration is set up to help warm the catalytic converter it does this by retarding the exhaust cam/ignition timing to warm the cat quickly. We cant to this part of the calibration yet.
