matrixprotein 33 Report post Posted November 11, 2019 Hi guys, considering lowering my 86. Currently on stock height but have the ht auto lip kit. I'm aware of scraping but have anyone else done this and what is your experience and how much did you lower? Ideally I want to close the arch gap. I'm in London which is a nightmare but I dont daily the car. Here's a photo currently at stock height. JohnM 25 Report post Posted November 11, 2019 I havnt lowered mine because I have the Maxton front splitter on. Even dropping the car by 15mm will cause issues with speed bumpers, kerbs etc so if you are catching things now you will have to be extra careful. There is only a 35mm gap from the bottom of the splitter to the ground so depending on the drop that is what you will lose at the front.
