Just ordered a pair of these for some experiments...

Was wondering about some enclosures in the voids where the rear speakers are... I'm not expecting anything mind blowing, but think the space could be well utilised for some improved 'sounds' 🙂

Potentially have some interesting results if they give enough of a kick! Do you have a sub fitted?

I’ve got the OEM Audio+ install, the sub is fine but I feel like there’s not enough low-mid range kick from the components.

I know the doors aren’t sealed the best so they’re gonna limit performance.

Keen to see how you get on!

No, I don't have a sub... yet!

Just thought I'd see what could be achieved with these before going all in. Part of me is wondering if these can be sorted to perform well then there's a chance I might not feel the need for a sub as well 🤔

(Well, it's something to experiment with and learn form anyway 🙂)

I'm convinced everyone on here is a total bass junky. I know the tyre noise raises the noise floor of the lows a huge amount, but some upgraded woofers have more oomph than the door cards can manage... they really thrum if you push it!

Yeah, I 've pretty much always had something sub-like in every car I've owned 😳

The biggest install I've done included a pair of 12" Subs run off a pair of identical amps, each bridged (running 350w rms).

It's the inner boy racer coming out again 😳 😆
