Useful part numbers if fitting a full size spare wheel

Recommended Posts

Hi

the following work with a full size spare wheel

Hldr Assy Spare wheel (the bolt) Subaru 97052AJ000

Supporter Holder (half moon "washer for the carrier bolt) Subaru 97047FG000

then handwritten on both was IM013F

Total cost £8.45

If you then want a Doughnut rubber boot mat to cover and fit inside the spare wheel (the carpet version does not sit flat with a full size or 16" spare the AUSTRALIAN Toyota part is PZQ20-14020 - I got mine from Australian ebay for £115 delivered.

Cheers all

Gary

Realised I could have just checked the eBay link... £108 according to google. Presumably there's a chance of import + VAT to add to that? Tempted by one, would solve having the wheel just lying in the boot!

Luckily I did not get any additional charges.

I would not drive with a loose wheel too risky

It really does fit snugly as if it were made for it. Oh wait it was !!!!

Plus the benefit of being rubber if you put anything damp in the back of the car.

tbh it's relatively safe and the ring mark it's half left on the boot, it's barely moved at all, granted in a collision it's not going to be ideal!

I originally looked at one ages ago but the cost was something silly like £500! ~£100 is a lot better though and rather tempting
