Mike 458 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 Was that under £100 shipped from Australia?!
Solwood 10 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 Sorry just checked it worked out £115 Inc delivery Obviously dependent on exchange rate Fits really well
Mike 458 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 Realised I could have just checked the eBay link... £108 according to google. Presumably there's a chance of import + VAT to add to that? Tempted by one, would solve having the wheel just lying in the boot!
Solwood 10 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 Luckily I did not get any additional charges. I would not drive with a loose wheel too risky It really does fit snugly as if it were made for it. Oh wait it was !!!! Plus the benefit of being rubber if you put anything damp in the back of the car.
Mike 458 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 tbh it's relatively safe and the ring mark it's half left on the boot, it's barely moved at all, granted in a collision it's not going to be ideal! I originally looked at one ages ago but the cost was something silly like £500! ~£100 is a lot better though and rather tempting
Solwood 10 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 The combo suggested would give you your boot back and make it safer too.
Mike 458 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 I've already got a modified Auris (i think it was...) spare wheel bolt which works fine
