They mention I think who they got to make them in the Toyota article, I'm sure they'd be happy to sell you a set yep it's mentioned in the article about who done them Each of the six Toyota GT86 models featured visually arresting livery created and applied by the vinyl graphic specialists at Motor Mode UK. Careful reference was made to archive material to ensure that all the shapes, colours and logos of the original designs were replicated as closely as possible around the GT86 silhouette. Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 3, 2015 Love the look of the castrol one.. Id look a bit of a bell on the street with it though Yes - that's the issue ultimately isn't it? Like all those blue and yellow liveried Imprezas ten years back... I quite like the tiger print one (not sure what that says about my fashion sense :-/)
JamesP1991 222 Report post Posted June 3, 2015 To be honest I would probably go for a Castrol livery if I could, but I would have to make sure my car looked and went the part to match, as in race specification! Would be certainly a big draw at shows But yes in general you would feel just a tad out of place!
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 3, 2015 You'd have to arrive in Sainsburys car park sideways... :-D

Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 3, 2015 Aside from the wraps though - what about the retro wheels? The red one is presumably on Watanabes or some similar knockoff, but what are the white and yellow ones wearing? I like the seventies cast magnesium vibe of those (but they'd be even better without the shiny rim). Anyone know?
Jamie_GRMN 177 Report post Posted June 3, 2015 They're all on Rota's, well thats what it said on the Car Throttle article anyway
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 3, 2015 You're right. Found them now. Quite wide though - shame they don't do them nearer stock size.
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted June 3, 2015 I think it's a crying shame they didn't use any liveries from the AE86 though, there must be plenty to choose from. I like the idea, but not how they've done it. The wheels are all Rota knock offs of wheels they could have got, which will still be in production, but would obviously cost more and you'd have to individually source each set from the appropriate manufacturer. But saying that Rota make retro look wheels is not really the case is it?
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted June 3, 2015 It'd always be Per Eklund's red and white Toyota GB livery on those for me (showing my age...)
